JustOwed operates as a self-help software platform. It provides software tools that let users organize their own facts and prepare and send their own correspondence. JustOwed is not a law firm and does not practice law.

What JustOwed Does Not Do

  • We do not select legal claims for you.
  • We do not give legal advice of any kind.
  • We do not represent you in any matter or proceeding.
  • We do not apply law to your specific facts or circumstances.
  • Using JustOwed does not create an attorney-client relationship.
  • We do not analyze whether a contract was broken or performed.
  • We do not assess the merits, strength, or value of any wage or payment claim.
  • We do not determine what a contract means or what amount is owed under it.
  • We do not determine whether wages are owed, whether overtime accrued, or which state agency has jurisdiction over a wage claim.
  • We do not determine whether you are an employee or an independent contractor.
  • We do not assess worker classification or misclassification.

You Are the Author and Sender

The user is the author and sender of any notice generated through the Service. JustOwed’s name does not appear as the sender of any notice. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it is sent.
